Hooking your makers with this description is essential as many will not even look at the remainder of your pattern unless your photo and description intrigue them. However, romance copy is not easy to do well. Typically under 150 words, this copy must convince your crafters quickly and imaginatively. As a creative assistant, I will romance prospective makers with a captivating summary designed to entice a purchase.

In order for me to describe your pattern, the more of the following information you can provide, the more enticing your description will be.

• a photo of the completed item is essential

• your inspiration for the pattern

• descriptive details such as seamless, worked flat or in the round, top down, delicate lace, robust cables, mosaic, stranded colorwork

• the mood or feeling you want to portray such as sporty and fun, night-on-the-town elegance, warm and cozy, summery, whimsical, romantic, office casual

• skill level

• whether the pattern is part of a themed collection

• if it employs an original or unusual technique

• any other information that would convince makers they absolutely need this pattern
